- Version 1.00 December 13, 1989
-
- -Official release of MCII
-
- ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- Version 1.01 December 16, 1989
-
- -Fixed windowing bug in DOS shell. If you executed more than 30+ commands from
- the DOS shell, Menu Commando II would run out of window handles and start
- messing the screen up.
-
- -Screen was redrawn twice when leaving the DOS shell thus giving a "bouncy"
- look.
-
- ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- Version 1.02 December 17, 1989
-
- -MCII speeded the keyboard up by default on AT class machines. This has been
- taken out temporarily until a keyboard setup procedure can be put into the
- program.
-
- -Under the System Configuration screen, MCII displayed the highest possible
- logical drive letter; the drive did not necessarily exist though. So now
- MCII just displays the highest valid drive letter.
-
- ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- Version 1.03 December 18, 1989
-
- -In multi-user mode, MCII displayed the 30 second shareware screen everytime
- a user logged off. This was not intended.
-
- -Changed duration of original signon screen from 30 seconds to 10 seconds.
- Several people have informed us that we don't have to put any delay to get
- registration from users who use our product; so we'll see!!!
-
- ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- Version 1.04 December 28, 1989
-
- -Shareware screen came up uninvited everytime a program was run from batch mode.
-
- -Changed duration of original signon screen from 10 seconds to 3 seconds.
-
- -Fixed problem with screen blanker initiated from Command Center (Alt-Minus).
-
- -Got rid of overlay structure. This caused too many problems for beginning
- users.
-
- ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- Version 1.05 December 31, 1989
-
- -Recoded screen blanker. It nows blanks the screen completely rather than having
- the dancing clock! To deactivate the screen blanker, one of the shift keys
- should be pressed (left shift, right shift, alt, or control).
-
- ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- Version 1.06 January 1, 1990
-
- -Separated help module from main program. The help module will be used for
- all COMMANDO products and PC-SWEEP Version 3.00.
-
- -Making a new directory in the directory maintenance displayed the new
- directory twice in the tree.
-
- ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- Version 1.07 January 2, 1990
-
- -Screen blanker time was not reset when a key was pressed.
-
- ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- Version 1.08 January 4, 1990
-
- -The shareware screen is displayed only when the program is first loaded rather
- than every 20 minutes.
-
- -Separated editor module from MCII. The editor module will be used for all
- COMMANDO products and PC-SWEEP version 3.00.
-
- -MCII now allows the PC-COORDINATOR/single user to select an external editor
- other than the COMMANDO editor. This is done under the Setup Menu. Use the
- help function more details.
-
- -Added a TSR uninstaller and cancel program option. If you run TSRS with an
- application program and wish to have them released from memory upon return
- to Menu Commando II, set the run mode in the program definition to
- SWAP OUT MCII. Setting the run mode to SWAP OUT MCII also has the additonal
- benefit of being able to terminate a locked up program (this is only possible
- if the keyboard is alive) by pressing the CTRL-SHIFT-DEL keys simulataneously.
-
- ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- Version 1.09 January 5, 1990
-
- -Menu Commando Now will detect all drives on system correctly.
-
- -Optimized code about 3k worth.
-
- -Memory map showed garbage for the filename on some DOS commands - the garbage
- has been replaced with '??'.
-
- ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- Version 1.10 January 17, 1990
-
- -Editor setup reported "program directory needed" if "Use COMMANDO editor"
- was toggled on and there was no external program defined!
-
- -Changed "Pause when done" option in program definition screen to
- "Action when done"; this field has been enhanced with the following
- actions:
-
- 1) Return to MCII
-
- Returns to MCII when the program is exited.
-
- 2) Pause & return to MCII
-
- Waits until a key is pressed before returning to MCII,this
- lets you view the information shown when the program exits.
-
- 3) Pause & exit MCII
-
- Waits until a key is pressed before clearing the screen and exiting
- MCII.
-
- 4) Exit MCII
-
- Clears the screen and exits MCII when the program exits.
-
- ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- Version 1.11 January 18, 1990
-
- -Fixed a possible incompatibility with some EMS software emulators.
-
- -Changed the way the shareware notice screen and reminder is displayed for
- unregistered copies of MCII. The delay is now based on the number of times
- a user executes programs from MCII - each time a program is executed, 1/10
- of a second will be added to the delay.
-
- Example: If the user executes programs from MCII 100 times and still don't
- register, the next time he runs MCII he will have to look at the
- shareware screen for 10 seconds!
-
- The shareware screen will also be displayed to the user after every
- multiple of 20 program runs!
-
- ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
